Students who apply to an academy or program of choice and are accepted will be assigned to the program automatically. There is no need to “accept” the assignment. If something changes about your desire to participate in the program, you should communicate that to the Career Specialist at the assigned school.
For example, you apply to an “out-of-zone” school, are accepted and assigned. Then, due to unforseen circumstances your transportation is not working out as planned and you need to attend your zoned school. You would communicate that with the Career Specialist at the school with the Program of Choice you had accepted.
